Car history: |
It has the mean looking Mako Shark body kit on it. I have a new, never installed hood section for it as indicated in the second photo. I have seats out of a 74 Corvette that has the headrests for that nice coozie feeling. I have done all the hard stuff.. It has a COMPLETELY new braking system including new lines, master cylinder, pads, rotors, bearings and calipers. New fuel lines and gas tank. I took the car down to the frame and sandblasted it and repainted the frame. The car has new shocks, new body mounts and wheels. The tires are used but still have plenty of tread on them. I also have the beauty rings for the wheels but I have only one center. The car sports a 400 turbo transmission that was rebuilt with 0 miles on it. I bored out a 327 69 Camero .30 over and again, 0 miles on it. Heck the engine only has about 5 minutes on it. I have WELL over $18k invested in the car. I have both the hard and soft tops for the car as well as new door skins for the interior and the classic side pipe exhaust system which aren't pictured, both still in the box. To have a running car all you would have to do is rewire the car, mount the steering column and put it back together and paint. Just like the old snap together models you played with as a kid. I even put a new heater core in the car while I had it apart. Honestly I would guess that it would take about another $5k to finish the car. And yes, it has a clear title. NO it is not a number matching car. It does not have A/C, power steering, or brakes and no power windows. It was built to drive and enjoy the open road, not pamper you. 68,000 miles. August 6, 2008. |
